At Schoriki Aregak e.V., our mission is to provide opportunities and foster social inclusion for people with disabilities in Armenia. Through private donations, corporate contributions, monthly membership fees, and proceeds from benefit events, we fund facilities and initiatives that support individuals with disabilities, helping them lead fulfilling and integrated lives.

Our Story
The idea to establish an association and support people with disabilities in Armenia was born during our first family trip to Armenia in 2015. We were traveling with our sister Schorik, who has an intellectual disability, and noticed that passersby often stared at us. Curious, we asked our cousin, who lives there, why this was happening. He responded with a question of his own: “Have you seen any other people with disabilities on the streets?”
That realization was shocking. For the first time, it became clear to us that individuals with disabilities in Armenia have limited opportunities and are largely excluded from society. Determined to make a difference, we founded the association in honor of our sister Schorik, who leads a happy and fulfilling life in Germany.
Our mission is to create similar opportunities for people with disabilities in Armenia, enabling them to live fulfilling and integrated lives within their communities.
